Decking

At J Baker carpentry we can provide the full service to transform your garden into something more comfortable to use, from intial design to completion, taking your budget requirements into account.

Decking Design

We will make an initial visit to the proposed site with you to understand your requirements for the space, taking into account aspects like accessibility, usage, budget and most important safety.

Once these areas are covered and if required we will make a design for you to give you a better idea of the final outcome.

NOTE: Depending on your ideas you may need to ask for planning permission from the local council, we can help you through this process.

Build Process

Once the final design has been agreed:

We can schedule a date to do the build.
We will start by clearing the site to make it safe and ready for the new decking.
Materials will be brought to site.
Decking Structure made, we will consult with you throughout the process to make sure everything is as you expected.
Once the decking has been completed we will review with you for sign off.

Enhance Existing Decking

It doesn’t have to be a complete new project, we have enhanced a number of existing decking areas making them larger and more accessible. As long as the original decking is safe we can work with you to take your decking to the next level.
